Thats correct if you've takin photo's within transperth trains rail depot you can not post them on the net in any form. I'll up load an selected few later. That has Been crop so only the train can be seen.

Re: Shots of A-set railcars
So , a question that has been burning on the tip of my hot little tongue of late .. these cars are nearing 20 years old and like anything , they can't have an unlimited effective life. what do you think the government can replace these with and when is it likely to happen? hopefully there is a more enlightened feasability process rather than some public servant just forgoing rhyme and reason to order some unit off the brochure of a manufacturer purely based on asthetic reasons and giving no regard to suitability in their given role. maybe i'm sounding a little jaded but it's happened before in our states and others (good example is victoria , trams that can only run on certain parts of the system etc. )

Re: Shots of A-set railcars
Well, given they have had ongoing refurbishment along the way and the oldest railcars are that old, the last A sets arrived in 1998 so arent that old really. I honestly cant see why they couldnt overhaul these cars as and when they need to, I mean the 1954 diesel class ADG railcars lasted up to 38 years and they werent electric, the london tube has 50 year old electric cars still in use!
OK I am not an expert here, someone else may have a better answer!
